The potato tasting is both a unique experience and an entertaining show. We host it for you every weekday starting at 3 p.m. and all day on weekends.
Take some time and let our “potato sommelier” guide you through a colourful world full of surprising flavours and visuals, where potatoes aren’t just a side dish but the star of the entire menu.
First, you’ll choose one of three meats. To accompany it, the sommelier will serve you five potato varieties prepared in a number of different ways, complete with a detailed explanation. Our chef Lukáš Soukup draws inspiration from cuisines around the world when preparing them, ranging from Czech classics and European staples to exotic combinations.
Among the most popular dishes are Ballerina potatoes au gratin with Gouda and Pecorino cheese, and cream; the adorable Cerisa Grenaille potatoes with truffle sauce; Agria potato gnocchi with bryndza and bacon; or Laura Grenaille potatoes confit with pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. Our guests also love the seemingly ordinary mashed potatoes with unusual spices.
After trying all five varieties, you can go back for seconds of the ones you liked best. Just wave to the server with the cart, who is delivering the potatoes in special containers. You can go back as many times as you like—we have plenty of potatoes.
